Dr. Hallie Sloan

Dr. Sloan grew up in Texas but moved to Colorado in 2005 to pursue her formal education. She completed her Bachelor of Science in both Biological Studies and Zoology, followed by a Masters in Biomedical Sciences, and finally her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, all at Colorado State University.

During veterinary school, she had the opportunity to spend a summer volunteering in Odisha, India where she focused on animal husbandry and veterinary medicine in local villages. She also completed an externship in Todos Santos, Mexico, where she participated in a spay and neuter campaign and a public outreach program.
Dr. Sloan is interested in pain management, surgery, and internal medicine. She loves all creatures great and small, but has a particular fondness for cats and goats!

Dr. Sloan lives in Loveland with her boyfriend Shawn and his children Alexsis, Allison, Rory, and Zoey. Their zoo consists of two dogs, Lea and Charlie, two cats, Chili and Samantha (Kitty), and a ball python also named Charlie. She loves being able to spend time with her family, and they can usually all be found camping, hiking, roller-skating, or jumping on the trampoline. She is also a movie buff and loves the local brewery scene in northern Colorado.
