Dr. Jessica Russell

Dr. Russell was born in Salem, MA and grew up in Dallas, TX.  She knew she wanted to work in the veterinary field at age 8 when she spent most of her time with her dogs, cats and horses.  She was a veterinary technician for a year, which motivated her to go to college to pursue her degree in veterinary medicine.

 
Dr. Russell's strengths are client education and compassionate patient care.  She is a member of AVMA, CVMA and DAVMS, and has special interest in soft tissue surgery, internal medicine and ophthalmology. 
 
Dr. Russell enjoys spending time with her husband, Rob, and two daughters, Meghan and Allison.  She also has several wonderful pets: Calvin and Fergie, an english mastiff and a newfoundland; and her geriatric cats, Mia, Riggs and Chesie.  Her hobbies include running, golfing and reading.
