Online Pharmacy Information
The FDA warns against online pharmacy use for pets, as seen in USA Today and the NY Times.
In keeping with our efforts to provide your pets with the best care available, we have changed our policies regarding online pharmacy prescription requests. We will still make these alternatives available to you, but you must call ahead and come in for a written prescription that you will mail in to these pharmacies. Please plan accordingly for transit times that may vary depending on dates and times. A detailed description of necessary steps to take will be provided when you receive the written prescription. You can also find those steps now by clicking here.
Please read the waiver below that explains our reasons for trying to limit use of these companies. If you still choose to use an online pharmacy, either print the waiver and fill it out to bring to us, OR fill it out electronically and submit it and we will place it in your pet's medical record. We ask for your understanding that this effort is for the safety and well-being of your pet and is not meant to cause any unnecessary inconvenience to you.
